Giveaway sponsors do not pay advertising fees for exposure and promotion of their business; rather they provide a prize to the lucky winner. It's a win-win promotional opportunity.
Giveaway Guidelines
- Giveaways will be provided free of charge when a product is provided for a site review.
- Giveaways without a product review are subject to a small administrative fee.
- The duration of most giveaways is typically 2-4 weeks, depending on the sponsors needs.
- Winners are determined using Random.org or Rafflecopter.com.
- The preferred method of prize distribution is providing an online coupon code for winners to shop at your store. This allows you to start a business relationship with a potential new buyer once they've received your prize.
- Other options for prize distribution include: sponsor to winner shipments, local pickup and a coupon to use in a store location. As a last resort prizes can be shipped to Freebies Deals And Rewards prior to contest launch and then we will ship at contest close. This option must be approved by the site administrator due to postage costs.
- Sponsors should indicate who is eligible to enter. As our target market is mainly Canadians, giveaways must allow entry by Canadian residents.
- We are happy to provide any and all links that you have to promote your business, such as: your website, Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, Flickr, Etsy, etc.
- As per Facebook Promotions Guidelines, we can only ask entrants to "like" your page or connect to your app for an entry. We cannot ask them to post a comment or a photo on your wall.
- We expect sponsors to ship prizes to the winners within a reasonable period of time after the contest closes.
Sponsored giveaways are an excellent opportunity for companies, small businesses and hobbyists who sell their wares to promote their products and services to thousands of people. Guidelines for Reviews
- Reviews are provided for family friendly products only, as that is our target market.
- Full size products are required for product reviews and will not be returned. Please no trial or samples sizes for reviews.
- Product reviews are provided free of charge.
- Shipping costs of the review product will be the responsibility of the sponsor.
- If you have press kits, pictures, or any other pertinent info that you would like included in the review, please send with your product.
- Please allow an average of 3-4 weeks for your review to be completed. If you require reviews by a specified date, let us know and we can work out the details.
- Once your review is complete, a link to the review will be emailed to you.
- Discount codes or coupons for future purchases are welcomed with product reviews.
